Competitive examination from 12 to 23 October 2026

Your selection process

1. Module 1: psychotechnical 30/60, languages 10/20 each, general knowledge in French 30/60.
2. Module 2: six sports disciplines, average 10/20, at least 1/20 each and 8/20 over 2 400 m.
3. Module 3: organisation and leadership 20/40, personality 10/20, motivation in Luxembourgish.
4. Module 4: academic tests for officers, 60 points, and function-specific tests, 20 points.

Your preparation by module

• Psychotechnical practice by career: officer, non-commissioned officer and corporal.
• LU, FR, DE, EN: 160 planned language questions and 60 listening questions.
• General knowledge: 432 planned questions on Luxembourg, institutions and the Army.
• Leadership: 144 planned questions. Motivation: 40 planned exercises.

Dates and official sources

• Non-commissioned officer B1: LU B2, FR B1, DE A2, EN A2. Corporal: LU B1, FR B1, DE A2, EN A2. C2 is exempt from English.
• Indirect recruitment: next session in 2027.
• Regulation of 6 November 2023: passing each module gives access to the next.
